Indoors
We are the only club to offer a full length green WITHIN OUR OWN clubhouse which is open throughout the winter months and is open 7 days a week.
League Bowling and Competitions

The club runs several leagues and competitions throughout the winter.
​
Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons, are used for the Daytime League, the 100-up Pairs and the Triples’
​
Evenings host the Indoor Fours League.
​
Fridays and weekends are set aside for the Knockout Competitions.
​
Monday nights are reserved EXCLUSIVELY for beginners and improvers - a facility that makes Ventnor the envy of other clubs.

Social Bowling
​
Social bowling and roll ups can take place any day as long as there are no matches scheduled ( to be found in the Club Diary).

New Bowlers
​
Indoors is ideal for beginners to learn the rudiments of lawn bowls.
​
Sessions are held on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm and cost just £2 (to cover the heating and lighting). The first night is free and all equipment is provided, even shoes, although most people prefer to bring their own trainers or similar flat-soled shoes.
​
New learners can start at any stage of the season - you don't have to be in at the beginning!
We will be pleased to welcome any new bowlers to sessions at any time from October to March - times may vary due to demand.
