Ventnor is a fun and friendly mixed club, welcoming anyone wanting to give bowls a try. We are a club open to all levels, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, Ventnor has something to offer. There is no obligation to join, of course, you can come up and just 'Pay and Play', green fees are listed further down the page.

If you wish to try our trial outdoor sessions, the 1st session is free and then green fees are payable. Indoor winter sessions  cost £2 although  your first winter session is free. Clothing – comfortable clothing and flat soled shoes (no pattern or heel) should be worn

There are some shoes available to use, and Bowls are provided

There will be an experienced bowler on hand to get you started

 

Our Memberships runs from 1st October and is for 12 months that includes both indoors and outdoors.

Full playing member

Full playing members may take part in all the sections activities, Indoors and Outdoors including  Domestic, National, and County competitions, leagues and matches. The annual fee covers green fees and roll ups outdoors.

Stewarding responsibilities (this will be explained to you upon joining)

 

Associate member

£30

Associate members may take part in friendly matches and participate in Tourist matches, although Full members have preference in the case of over subscription. The annual fee covers green fees and roll ups outdoors.

Also may take part indoors in house league and competition games.

Help with winter cleaning rota.

  

Social only

£5

Social only members may play socially only on payment of rink green fees.

Ability to attend club social events but have a non-voting status.
